a messenger bag.
i’ve been thinking about sewing a messenger bag for a long time and it took me a while before i began. i’ve got a few messenger bags, which i bought at different places, so i could test them by myself and concluded what is most important - when you ride your bike the bag must fit on you comfortably; the ability to take it off quickly in a crowded bus and being able to fit a sleeping bag in it, some clothes, a book and to be able to go with it on a hitchhiking trip.
this bag is waterproof (only the outer layer will get wet, but water will not get inside), has got a soft strap, so even a really heavy weight shouldn’t hurt and there are clamps to have the bag closed. and all materials used are 100% recycled.
this is a prototype. i believe it will evolve. and i hope that whoever wears it will be enjoyed.

a waterpoof notebook.
my brother travels a lot and he usually writes his thoughts during the trip. one time he asked me if i can make a notebook for him, but he wasn’t convinced of the buttons, ribbons, and other things, that i normally use, so it took me some time to figure out how his notebook should look like.
recently, i found a piece of tarpaulin, used some scraps from Ikea bags, zipper jackets, so only the notebook inside is completely new.
this book is not 100% waterproof, but a little rain will not hurt him for sure, so my brother can take it with him on a cycling trip, and when it starts to rain, he can write in it for a while hiding under a tree.
besides, the tarpaulin which i used shows photo of blocks near where we grew up, so he can always have a piece of home with him.
Happy Birthday Mike!

even if you’ve got the best thermos in the world it’s still possible that the warmth which it holds inside could disappear for no reason. so making a case for your thermos is a much better way to keep your favourite coffee hot, no matter what. :)

cooperation with my mum:) she made the knitting part of the bag and i sewed the rest of the elements all together. i dreamed about a pouch in which i could hold all of my implements needed for art classes and here it is!:)

some time ago i started to make glasses cases. they are very useful, cause i think everybody has that problem with glasses when we want to take them off for a while when we are outside and dont know where to put them.

have you ever wanted to watch your favourite movie while eating delicious soup and realised that it’s more difficult than you thought before? probably it was because of the warmth that burns your hands.. i came up with special bowl covers to prevent any stress with combining two loves in one.

christmas and the gifts. this year mostly all of the presents which i prepared were hand made stuff and were prototypes of things i plan to continue.
above - something very useful in the winter when the best way to spend your free time is reading books laying under the blanket and drinking tea.

i was walking by a small forest next to my apartment block and i met a bird family:) maybe they don’t know, that the real winter will start very soon and don’t want to fly down south?

i didn’t put anything here for a while but it doesn’t mean i wasn’t absorbed though. i made a few things but i haven’t had luck with taking pictures. Winter takes away a lot of sun and i always woke up after proper sunlight. because of that, these things are a few days old.
here is the first pencil case by mmpapper company:)

i realised that every time when i travel my sewing accessories are scattered through all of my luggage and i always have a problem to find them. so i decided to make my own cover-kit. it is big enough to keep my needed threads, scissors, wools and even my hand sewing machine.
i remeber that my weaving teacher always told us to take care of our tools because it shows how we care for our work and it eventually means who we are.
