have you ever wanted to watch your favourite movie while eating delicious soup and realised that it’s more difficult than you thought before? probably it was because of the warmth that burns your hands.. i came up with special bowl covers to prevent any stress with combining two loves in one.

christmas and the gifts. this year mostly all of the presents which i prepared were hand made stuff and were prototypes of things i plan to continue.

i didn’t put anything here for a while but it doesn’t mean i wasn’t absorbed though. i made a few things but i haven’t had luck with taking pictures. Winter takes away a lot of sun and i always woke up after proper sunlight. because of that, these things are a few days old.

i realised that every time when i travel my sewing accessories are scattered through all of my luggage and i always have a problem to find them. so i decided to make my own cover-kit. it is big enough to keep my needed threads, scissors, wools and even my hand sewing machine.

i remeber that my weaving teacher always told us to take care of our tools because it shows how we care for our work and it eventually means who we are.

i tried taking pictures using my old camera a few times and every time i got discouraged… one time ago i made a list and wrote things which i really want to do in my life, such as: learning to play another instrument then the piano, come back to screen printing which i left 3 years ago and taking photos by KievCamera at last. And a week ago at a very great site designsponge.com i saw a nice idea for how to make a coverfor a camera which inspired me to make one for mine.

these pictures show how it came out. i used an old scarf, a piece of new fabric which i found at a second hand and unused belts from my child’s skates.

i hope now i’ll be encouraged to start photographing the world with my parents camera which perpetuates my family’s past.

this is a picture from the evening when Deer in the headlightS from bosnia and hercegovina and DisprO from croatia played in Kawiarnia Naukowa in Cracow. me and my fiance were responsible for food, sleeping place for bands and all stuff which you must remember when you are making a show:) it was amazing despite of not so big attendance. before the show we cooked many falafels and baked an apple pie and cookies for sale. and honestly i didn’t expect so many clients:) i think we will prepare more falafels in the future, for sure:)

it’s been a while since i wasn’t here. i was occupied with things i had to do because of deadlines or ideas which were waiting for the moment to be realized. 

these pictures show work which i’ll do once a month or more often and i used to do this some time ago too. these are ‘snow balls’ made from dactyls, raisins, nuts, oatmeal and cacao:). they have no added sugar and are not boiled nor baked, so they stay fresh for a long time. and i make this for a nice place in Cracow, called Kawiarnia Naukowa, where interesting things happen such as gigs, potluck and so on. i recommend to visit it if you’ll be passing by.
